Syed Abul Hasan Chishti

Syed Abul Hasan Chishti Syed Abul Hasan Chishti (1916 - 2013), was an imam, an Islamic scholar and philosopher from the Indian Subcontinent . Chishti introduced and established the Chishti Order of Sufism in the Indian subcontinent specially in Bangladesh. Early life and background Syed Abul Hasan Chishti was born in 1916 in Satrajitpur, ChapaiNawabganj District in Bangladesh, He is the direct descendant of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam through Imam Sayyid Ali Akbar, His parents died when he was forty years old. He inherited a windmill and an orchard from his father. Abul Hasan became the murid (disciple) of Sayed Ali Chishti. Abul Hasan has two families, one Satrajitpur & Ellenga.
